Cooper Crest Home Owner's Association
Cooper Crest Community
Olympia, WA 98502
The rain garden project is the result of a grant by the city of Olympia. It cost the association no money to undertake. Money was provided by the city of Olympia for plants and neighborhood members did the planting. The area will no longer need routine mowing or watering, thereby saving the association money.
The fire lane border with the cell towers was landscaped in November 2010 by the owners of the cell tower.
The Cooper Crest entrance sign was landscaped by David Warwick. Many thanks to his efforts!
David also relandscaped the boulevard strip in front of his home to a low water, drought resistant area.
We have begun a program of water usage reduction by converting some common grass areas into low water, drought tolerant areas.
